Project Overview
Overstreet replaced the existing runway, taxiway and threshold lighting systems at Tyndall AFB, including a new computer-controlled airfield lighting control panel and display board.
Scope Highlights
- Demolition of existing lighting and cans, 5 kV cabling, L-830 isolation transformers and regulators
- New underground duct systems, grounding counterpoise, duct banks and manholes
- New 5 kV L-824 Type C cabling
- New Crouse-Hinds airfield lighting control panel and display board
- New constant current regulators in the existing vault
